LinkToFill: FormsCentral on Steroids

It’s always disappointing when your favorite software services stop being updated, but it could be disastrous if mission-critical services are taken offline completely. Many of you have recently been expressing frustration at the loss of Adobe’s FormsCentral which is being retired on July 28, 2015 (you can read more about that here). But don’t despair because we’ve got some good news.

If you relied on FormsCentral in the past for hosting your fillable forms, you can now migrate those forms to PDFfiller.  We recently released LinkToFill, which is FormsCentral on steroids. It can do everything that FormsCentral did and much, much more!

LinkToFill lets you take your form and embed it on your website. Now anyone can come to your site and fill the form and you will receive the filled-out version in your PDFfiller account. But your options aren’t simply limited to embedding the form on your website…

With LinkToFill you can generate HTML code for embedding a button on your website or share your document directly with a URL. But that’s not all! You can also generate a QR code that you can use on printed materials. When your customer scans the QR code they get the fillable form on their mobile device.

Recipients of your form don’t require a PDFfiller account to fill out your form – when they click on your link, button or scan the QR code, they are taken to the form in the PDFfiller editor where they can fill and sign your document online from a computer or smartphone. You can set LinkToFill permissions that limit the editing to signature only. You will get notified when a form is completed and where you can find it in your account.

Once your forms have been filled out and submitted back to you, you can download them to your computer as PDF files, or export the responses to an excel spreadsheet.  To get started, simply import your FormsCentral or other forms to your PDFfiller account, and click LinkToFill.   For more on LinkToFill, check out our post here, or watch the following video.
