Get Connected with PDFfiller’s new Address Book

PDFfiller has just answered another one of your prayers! Now you can look up and automatically add email addresses using PDFfiller’s new Address Book feature!  This makes collaborating on documents and sending PDFs for signature even easier!  How is that possible, you say?

When you click the icon titled ‘Address Book’ on the ‘My Account’ page, you will be asked to upload your contacts from a Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or Outlook account (you can import information from more than one).  Each time you link an account the existing contact information, including the individual’s name, email, phone number, and fax number, will be automatically uploaded to your address book.  At the top of the window are icons that allow you to search for a contact, add a new contact, edit an existing contact, or delete a contact from PDFfiller’s address book.

The way address book works within PDFfiller is as follows.  When you click on ‘SendtoSign’ or ‘Share’ after editing a PDF, a window will open with an email upload.  When you start to type a name into the field, potential candidates will appear below and you can click on them to add them into the recipient list.  Another option is to click the little icon that looks like a person.

This automatically connects you to your address book.  Adding the recipient is as easy as clicking on the orange action button following their contact information.  PDFfiller will flash a message when the recipient is added successfully or if they already exist in the recipient list.  When you are done adding recipients from your Address book, simply close the dialog box and you will return to the SendtoSign or Share interface.  After you add your message, simply hit ‘send’ and voilà, you are done!
