This week we launched a brilliant new tool to make your experience with PDFfiller even better. ScanToFill is our new iOS application that replaces a scanner, copier, and fax machine, all by using your iPhone or iPad’s digital camera.
How does it work?
The ScanToFill app is specifically designed to work in conjunction with the original PDFfiller application. If you have a paper form in your hand and you need to sign & send it fast, but you’re nowhere near a copier or fax machine, ScanToFill is the simple solution. Lay the paper out on a flat surface, open the free ScanToFill app, and take a photograph of the form (or choose a picture from you camera roll).
Once you’re satisfied with the image of your form, you can play with it until it’s perfect.
Rotate it, crop it, change the overall look with a filter, and add another image if you need it. When you’re done, save it to your PDFfiller account (it will go into your “Unsorted Folder”), open the document with another app (like Google Drive, eBooks, or PDFfiller W-9), email it to anyone, or print it.
In order to sign, fill-out, fax, or edit your scanned form, just open the main PDFfiller app, click on your new scanned document, and start editing. Simple as that!
