Ditch the Fax Machine, Send an eFax!
Using fax machines in a 21st century business setting can be a bit frustrating. Sometimes an individual requests that you fax them an important document instead of emailing it. Other times you find yourself working with that one business client who always sends you invoices via fax. So how can you receive and send faxes without investing in a cumbersome fax machine?
eFax consists of two parts: a unique eFax number for your incoming faxes, and an easy-to-use Fax option to send your documents, similar to PDFfiller’s Share and SendToSign features.
Once you’ve activated your eFax, you can fax a document right from My Forms. Select the document, and then click “Fax” from the menu on the right. You’ll be taken to the Fax form page.
Here, you can insert your email address, your recipient’s information, and a brief message to accompany the document. You can also change your document’s orientation and print size, as well as select a specific part of the document to send instead of the entire document.
To receive faxes right into your PDFfiller account, you’ll need your unique eFax number. You can find this number in My Account, under “Your Inbound Fax Number”. Click on “Get my Fax Number”, and enter your area code on the next page to retrieve your unique number.
Simply use this number as you would a normal fax number, and you’ll see faxes arrive right in your “Inbox” folder.
