We all make mistakes. It is important to have a possibility to correct them and go ahead doing things right. We at PDFfiller are constantly striving to improve our product, to make it even more convenient for our users. One of our latest developments is the undo/redo tool. If you make a mistake or should you change your mind while editing a document, you can easily erase the last 13 changes you’ve made and reverse the last undo command using the undo/redo tool.
You will find the undo and redo buttons in the top left corner of the page. The undo button depicts an arrow pointing left, the redo button depicts an arrow pointing right.
Alternatively, you can undo the last changes by pressing Ctrl+Z and reverse the last undo command by pressing Shift+Ctrl+Z.
A tip: before you start editing a document or filling a form, make a backup copy of the blank document. If something goes wrong, you will always be able to start anew.
To do this, select the document in its folder and click the Copy icon.
Enter a name of the copy and click OK.
Undo It All
You can also undo all the changes you’ve made in a couple of clicks. Select the document in its folder, click the More drop-down menu and select Clear — that’s all you need to do. You should remember, however, that you won’t be able to reverse this action.
It should be noted that the empty fillable fields that you added to the document will remain.
A tip: make a backup copy before restoring the filled document to its original state.
